About Ken

Ken Tuley is a certificated hot air balloon pilot. After experiencing the hassle of providing all his documents every month to his local balloon club as well as the other 4 events he participated in each year, he hit on the idea of a system to minimize and streamline the entire process. Thus the BPDP was created. 

Ken first created the system for balloonists in the Albuquerque area in 2019. It was quickly adopted by the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and other regional events.

Over the years, Ken has become extremely knowledgeable about the validity of documents as well as database design and use and is pleased to present this system free of charge to all pilots, with a minimal charge to event organizers.

In addition, Ken works with multiple organizations to develop electronic application processes for ballooning events, including the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
